“A Pretty decent efforts by my boys”: Aaron Finch, Australia’s Captain

The series is still alive! Australia beat India by 32 runs in 3rd ODI at Ranchi, Home of Jharkhand on 8th march, 2019Australia have looked like a team on the rise and today they tied it all together and put in a performance to match. They have managed to make it 2-1. India won the toss and decided to field first. Mohammed Shami opens the match and balled first .The opening batsmen of Australia was Usman khawja and Skipper Aaron Finch who played a tremendous innings. Both of them help Australia to win the match. Usman khawja hit his first century in ODI series scoring 104 runs off 113 balls includes  11 fours and 1 six while Finch scored 93 runs off 99 balls and displayed a score of 313/5 runs in 50 overs.  
India had to chase a target of 314 at 6.28 runs per over to win the game. India's chase started poorly as they lost their opening batsmen Shikhar Dhawan(1) and Rohit Sharma (14) with the score of 15/2.Raydu failed to score and clean bowled by Cummins (27/3). Dhoni(26) was out by Zampa and he had to depart from his hometown stadium. India lost their 4 wickets for 86 runs. Then Jadhav(26) and Kohli partnership of 88 runs helps India  to compete the match.  Virat kohli’s marvellous performance went in vain. He scored 123 runs (16 fours and 1 six) off 95 balls becoming his 41st ODI Century and 19th as a captain. However not for the first time in this series leg-spinner Adam Zampa knocked him over at a crucial time.  The chase soon fizzled after that. India could only make 281 runs in 48.2 overs after it had a terrible start losing 3 wickets for 27 runs in 6.2 overs. Indian batsmen failed to chase the run-rate.

“There is nothing like winning. Specially against a very good Indian side. They made us work hard.”
Swag Star of the Match- Virat Kohli:
“Australia played better on the day. Adam bowled well and they won the game. We will have a few changes in the next couple of games.”
Jana Bankable player- Adam Zampa:
“We bowled well collectively. The quicks upfront were amazing, Virat is a serious player, it was good to take his wicket when we did.”
Australian Captain- Aaron Finch:
“It was a pretty decent effort by my boys. Credit how they batted and also appreciate the new ball ballers.”
